The American family farm of the 19th and 20th centuries is no longer a reality. Many farmers, faced with foreclosure, have sold out to the larger agri-businesses of the country. This action may be the solution for the farmer but for the sustainability of the land, it is a disaster. Will Americans outsource their farmers, too?
